What Is It?

Have you ever had true passion for something? When I mean true passion, I guess I am describing it the way I feel. Like, whenever you're around this "passion" or doing something involving this "passion", it seems like the whole world just stops? No more worries, no more pain...just an indescribable amount of happiness and excitement..

The camera does that to me. When I set out to take photos, whether they're just random shots to add to my collection or photographing a person. I feel whole, and just indestructible almost. How do you explain that feeling? It's really like no other. When I am done taking pictures, I come home to edit. And seeing the outcome of some of them is enough to make me happy. It's even better when I post them, and people enjoy them also.

I'm pretty sure that there probably isn't a person following my blog, but at least I can sit down and write (type) my feelings about a session I had that day....and not feel goofy about it.

So, at that. I decided this morning after I got off of work, that I was going to attempt to, maybe get myself lost on the backroads. I was determined to set out and find something really cool. Well, I didn't try very hard, because I didn't get lost. But I found a place, that absolutely made me feel like a little kid in a candy store. Now, only if I can find the owner to get closer to the property for some better shots! Here's a few of the pictures I captured today at this place!

{Second Shoot With Maria}

My second photo shoot with Maria was just as much fun. We had been wanting to go downtown on the Mississippi River Front for some time to capture images on the graffiti wall. Wow, that was so cool. We got some really awesome images down there. Not to mention the experiences we had in a few of the locations we shot at. After the river we headed into Collinsville to Willoghby Farms to shoot some images there. What a beautiful place!

{First Ever Photo Shoot}

I was photographing everything that caught my eye in nature, just out of passion. I loved being behind the camera and catching those to die for moments that just made everyone awe. So, one day my sister and I were chatting about my photography, and I thought you know it'd be kind of cool if I could capture the same kind of images with a person. So, we continued talking, and that's when I decided to ask Chon's cousin to be my "model" to see if I could capture the images of a human being, the same as my nature shots! Here were just a few of the images from my first ever photo shoot with Maria.

Hello!

So, here we go. Even though I capture more nature photos at the moment, I still wanted to take the time to create a blog, somewhere other than Facebook to store my photos. Something that some of you would rather follow than a Facebook page. I am going to work on trying to add all of my photos to the blog over the next few days, as I am still learning how to really use this. It will be my first time blogging, so please! give me a break! LOL
I hope that those of you who decide to follow my posts enjoy them. If ever, you have advice, please do not be afraid to share. I am willing to take any advice I can get. You can never learn too much.
So, here it goes!
